Résumé: There are many challenges to effective practices related to online collaboration as part of campus-based courses in higher education. The aim of this paper is to present teachers' use of hybrid learning environments to support collaboration and knowledge building. Data were gathered in two different undergraduate contexts over a three-year period. Results show that, under proper circumstances of use, online collaboration becomes a reality, and that it can lead to learning and knowledge building.
