Résumé: This presentation focuses on the notion of contradiction and conflicts of motives in an episode of collective creative problem-solving activity, suggesting it is driven by a certain type of contradictions emerging from interactions between higher education and the real world. This episode will be established as constitutive of qualitative changes at activity level, and therefore offers an approach to addressing the gap between the university and society.
